Cher's Tattoo Number 5 "The Black Orchid" 1986

As expected, this tattoo is rarely seen in photos. Only very briefly during concerts, do you catch a glimpse of it, usually as a dark spot depending on the costume of the minute. In the May 1986 issue of Vanity Fair, Cher revealed her private "Black Orchid" tattoo. This rare picture is the most detailed picture available of this tattoo. Click each picture for a larger image.

This is one of Cher's most revealing outfits during her 1989 "Turn Back Time" days. Not as much detail here as above, but enough to see that the "Black Orchid" still exists. What a great outfit!

Here is another picture of the "Black Orchid" tattoo, semi-hidden beneath the mesh stockings. Note that Cher's autograph points to the tattoo.

This is a great photo where you think that you can see the "Black Orchid". However, when you enlargen this photo, the image of the "Black Orchid" becomes only a smear of black pixels where it appears that this photo was retouched prior to printing to remove all detail of the "Black Orchid". With the magic of photos, what you see is not always what was photographed. Anyway, this is a very nice Cher photo. However, since we do not know the photographer's name, we can not give them credit here but wish to thank them for allowing us to use this photo here, not for profit, but only for the enjoyment of Cher fans worldwide.
